Goa hotels can reopen once they comply with all MHA guidelines: Tourism Director

Panaji (Goa), June 09 (ANI): Goa Tourism Director, Menino D'Souza on June 09 said all hotels in the state which are ready to comply with Centre's guidelines, they have to apply to Department of Tourism and after we see they're complying to all guidelines we'll permit them. He said, "Centre has permitted hotels to open but here all hotels which are ready to comply with guidelines, have to apply to Department of Tourism and after we see they're complying to all guidelines, we'll permit them." "We've opened the website and received almost 30 applications from hotels. We will scrutinise them and after govt takes a call on it, we will allow them to open hotels depending on how they are complying with these guidelines," he added.
