Forest Dept plants seeds for over 1 lakh trees in JandK's Udhampur

Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), June 24 (ANI): JandK Forest Department has planted seeds for over 1 lakh trees in Udhampur district. They have sown seeds at Central Nursery in Mand village of Udhampur. It has been done under the mission 'Clean India, Green India'. The nursery is also providing facility of employment to local youth. While speaking to ANI, the Nursery In-charge Rajiv Gupta said, "We have sown seeds for different species of trees. We will produce over 1 lakh trees next season and plant them in degraded areas."
