FIR registered against unknown persons for disrupting Lucknow’s metro service

Lucknow (UP), Dec 12 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Limited lodged First Information Report (FIR) against unknown persons. FIR was lodged for disruption of metro services due to Chinese manjha in Lucknow. Speaking to ANI on December 11, Director (Operations) of UP Metro Rail Corporation Limited, Sushil Kumar said, “Chinese manjha and other metal strings damage metro trains' overhead electrification system.” “Despite a ban on Chinese manjha, kite flyers are still using it. After a recent incident of disruption of metro service due to these types of kite strings, we lodged an FIR,” he added.
