Farmers of BKU (UP) meet Agriculture Minister, submit memorandum in support of farm laws

New Delhi, Dec 15 (ANI): Union Minister of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar met leaders and farmers of Bhartiya Kisan Union from Uttar Pradesh at Krishi Bhawan. After meeting the farmers, Tomar said that members of Bhartiya Kisan Union (UP) extended their support to the farm laws. He said that the farmers first have some doubts about the farm laws but after talking to him they extended their support. Bhartiya Kisan Union leaders from Uttar Pradesh met at Krishi Bhawan New Delhi and submitted a memorandum in support of new farm laws. “The farmers who met me today have supported the three farm laws. They said that they are with the bills and govt. As some farmers are spreading misconception so they were also misled. When I spoke to them they clearly supported the bills,” he said.
