Farmers bag good profit from strawberry cultivation in Gorakhpur

Gorakhpur (UP), Feb 23 (ANI): Gorakhpur farmers are moving from traditional farming methods in recent times. Farmers are cultivating strawberries which have become a major source of income. The commercial demand for strawberries has also increased over the years, yielding good profit from its cultivation. Strawberries are sold at Rs 250-300 per kg everyday in the city. Government is also taking keen interest to promote the cultivation of strawberries.
