New Delhi, Dec 25 (ANI): Speaking to ANI in the national capital on December 25, General Manager (GM) of Northern Railway, Ashutosh Gangal spoke about impact of farmers’ protest on business of Indian Railways. Gangal said, “One section is blocked from Beas to Amritsar. Freight carriage hasn't been affected much since November but time to reach destination is a lot more.” “We estimate that around Rs 2,400 crore loss has been faced by railways due to farmers' agitation,” he added.
