Family in Guwahati creates temporary pond for Chhath puja

Guwahati (Assam), Nov 19 (ANI): A family in Guwahati came up with an innovative idea to make a temporary pond for the Chhath puja. The temporary pond is viewed as a precautionary measure to tackle COVID fear. The family advised people, going to the river banks, to follow COVID guidelines issued by the government. Chhath puja, a four-day-long festival dedicated to the Sun god has started across country. It is celebrated with a lot of enthusiasm and joy in several states but it is a major festival in north India. The festival usually witnesses huge congregations.
