‘Earth science empowers all to think globally and act locally’, says Harsh Vardhan

New Delhi, July 27 (ANI): Health Minister of India, Dr Harsh Vardhan attended the 14th Foundation Day celebrations of Union Ministry of Earth Sciences. On the special occasion, he stated that Earth Science connects all and empowers to think globally. “Earth science empowers us to think globally and act locally. People who understand how earth system works, they can debate and resolve issues surrounding clean water, urban planning, global and climate change. It connects us all biologically to the earth chemically and to the rest of the universe economically,” Harsh Vardhan said. On the occasion, Health Minister also launched a Mobile Application ‘Mausam’ and a Resource Centre Network portal as a pilot project under the Digital India initiative of Government of India.
