Drugs worth Rs.34cr destroyed in Manipur

Imphal (Manipur), Jan 15 (ANI): Pre-trial drugs and psychotropic substances worth Rs. 34 crores in the international market seized by Narcotics and Affairs of Border (NAB) and Manipur Police were disposed of at Pungdongbam Chingmang in Imphal East District on January 14. According to police officials, the items were seized by NAB, Thoubal, Bishnupur, Noney, Senapati, Imphal West, and Imphal East district police. The contraband items, which were consigned to flames, include Heroin powder (2 kg 271 gm 535 milligrams), Cannabis (273 kg and 87 gm), 5, 80,853 World’s Yours (WY) tablets, 1, 22,696 Spasmo-Proxyvon (SP) capsules and 530 N-10 tablets.
