Dressed as cartoon characters, NGO members cheer up Mumbai slum kids

Mumbai, June 28 (ANI): To make slum kids smile a bit, members of an NGO in Mumbai dressed up as cartoon characters and distributed food and books among them. Due to COVID lockdown, children are forced to stay at home and schools are also shut. Considering this, the members of the NGO distributed books among the poor children. Sion Friends Circle group members distributed materials to children staying in slum areas and also played with them to make them smile during pandemic time. Study materials included books, pencils rubber etc to the students staying in slums areas.
