Kozhikode (Kerala), Sep 02 (ANI): A team of veterinary doctors had successfully removed a rubber valve from the throat of a Cockatiel bird in Kerala’s Kozhikode. Doctors successfully removed the valve by giving anaesthesia to the bird. A pet lover Akbar Abdullah hailing from Maniyoor Village of Kozhikode took a Cockatiel bird to veterinary clinic for treatment. Speaking to ANI, a veterinary doctor, Dr RK Sneharaj said, “We tried to remove the valve by giving anaesthesia to the bird and were successful otherwise surgery was the only option.”
