New Delhi, Nov 29 (ANI): Union Petroleum & Natural Gas Minister Dharmendra Pradhan at 3rd Global Re-Invest 2020 invited foreign investors, developers to join India in its renewable energy journey. “I encourage the global investors and innovators to join hands with Indian companies to develop innovative and scalable type ups in solar sector. India is progressively becoming a favoured destination for investment in renewable as in the last six years, over USD 64 billion investment has been made in renewable energy in India,” said Dharmendra Pradhan. “Foreign investors can either invest on their own or enter into joint ventures with an Indian partner for financial and technical collaboration for setting up of renewable energy-based power generation projects,” he added.
