Devotees throng Kashi Vishwanath Temple on 2nd Monday of ‘Sawan’

Varanasi (UP), July 13 (ANI): Devotees were seen queuing up outside the ‘Kashi Vishwanath Temple’ on second Monday of the holy month of ‘Sawan’. The devotees eagerly waited to offer their prayers at the holy shrine amid COVID-19 pandemic. Security beefed up at temple premises on second day of ‘Sawan’ month. This year, ‘Sawan’ month began from on July 06 and it will end on August 03. Fasts are observed during the holy month. Devotees worship Lord Shiva for success and prosperity. Kashi Vishwanath Temple is also known as the Golden temple dedicated to the Lord Shiva.
