Devotees take holy dip on auspicious occasion of ‘Sharad Purnima’

Varanasi/ Prayagraj (UP), Oct 30 (ANI): Devotees took holy dip in river Ganga at Varanasi on October 30 on the auspicious occasion of Sharad Purnima. They lighted ‘diyas’ along the shore of holy river Ganga and performed ‘puja’. Sharad Purnima is celebrated on full moon day of the Hindu Lunar month of Ashwin. Devotees in UP’s Prayagraj also took holy dip at Triveni Sangam today. This day is also known as ‘Kojagiri Purnima’.
