New Delhi, Dec 18 (ANI): Cyber crime unit of Delhi Police busted a massive syndicate targeting foreign nationals and arrested fifty four including 45 male and 9 female accused. Police team received information that a huge illegal call center operated in Moti Nagar that is targeting foreign nationals and illegally inducing them to transfer money through Bitcoins and Gift cards. In this regard, a team was formed and raids were conducted at the stated location. The police team found that the premises were being used to run an illegal call center from where accused persons were calling up people in the US and other countries impersonating various Law Enforcement Agencies and inducing them to transfer large amounts of money after threatening them with legal action. Delhi Police seized all 89 desktops and the server set-up was found at the spot.
