New Delhi, June 09 (ANI): Delhi Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal has given direction to identify areas for large makeshift facilities if the current trend of coronavirus cases continues. "If the current trend continues we'll be requiring 80,000 beds by the end of July month. In today's State Disaster Management Office (SDMA) meeting I have given direction to identify areas where we can have large makeshift facilities for example Pragati Maidan, Indra Gandhi Stadium, Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium etc. We also planned to utilise banquet halls to ramp up the facility," said Anil Baijal while talking to ANI. "We are also exploring options like linking hotels with hospital, utilizing bed capacity of private hospitals," Lieutenant Governor added.
