Shivpuri (MP), Dec 02 (ANI): A Dalit family in Madhya Pradesh’s Shivpuri alleged that they were thrashed by a relative of state minister Suresh Dhakad after they didn't vote for BJP in recent concluded by-polls. The family has camped outside the Shivpuri Superintendent of Police (SP) office, demanding justice. “He thrashed us for not voting in favour of BJP. His name is Ram Kishan Dhakad and we have filed a complaint against him. We have voted for BSP in the recent concluded by-polls, that’s why he is torturing us,” a victim said. However, Shivpuri ASP Praveen Bhuria contradicted the victim family’s stand by saying that their complaint doesn’t mention their failing to vote for the BJP candidate as the reason behind their torture. He said, "We didn't receive any complaint about vote. The complainant says they were tortured and they have dispute with Dhakad family. I have directed probe." Meanwhile, BJP state working committee member, Dhairyavardhan Sharma demanded an unbiased investigation in the matter and said, “I feel that people are still in the election mode. One may falsely accuse party leader to draw the attention and hence, unbiased investigation is needful in this case.”
