Cyclone Nisarga: 1 lakh people evacuated from cyclone’s path, says NDRF DG

New Delhi, June 03 (ANI): While speaking to ANI in Delhi on June 03, the Director General (DG) of National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), SN Pradhan spoke on measures being taken as landfall process of cyclone Nisarga began. He said, "About 43 National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams are deployed in the two states; of which 21 are in Maharashtra." "Nearly, 1 lakh people have been evacuated from the cyclone spot," NDRF DG added.
