Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Feb 07 (ANI): Cuttack’s forest officer Sasmita Lenka has been felicitated with UN's Asia Environmental Enforcement Award. Sasmita Lenka expressed her happiness over receiving the award as she has become the first from the state to receive it. Lenka said, “I am glad my work was noticed and I have been nominated for this prestigious award. No one has received it before from Odisha so I am feeling very happy and privileged. We have got this award for our work towards bursting rackets of Indian pangolin’s trafficking. So far we have arrested 28 smugglers.”
