CRPF to induct 3 local dog breeds in its force

New Delhi, Jan 21 (ANI): CRPF Director General (DG) A P Maheshwari during the annual press conference on January 21 told that three local breeds of dogs will be inducted in the force in order to further strengthen the canine squads. Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had also mentioned about these local breeds in his address. CRPF DG said, “We have the dog breading and training school at Tharalu, so that is in terms of building canines squads. Recently, we have also inducted the local breed which had been located and also if you recall they were also mentioned by Prime Minister in his address, one is the Mudhol Hound, Mongrel and Kombai. They are local breeds and are also being inducted in the force as they have been found useful and are being trained well.”
