COVID update: Maharashtra sees 5,318 fresh cases, Delhi starts identifying virus spread

New Delhi, June 26 (ANI): Maharashtra has reported 167 deaths and 5318 new COVID-19 positive cases. Out of these 167 deaths- 86 occurred in the last 48 hrs and rest 81 are from the previous period. The total number of cases in the state stands at 1,59,133. Delhi has reported 2,948 new COVID-19 cases and 66 deaths on June 27. Total number of cases stands at 80188 including 28329 active cases, 49301 recovered/discharged/migrated cases and 2558 deaths. Serological survey has begun in the national capital from June 27 to identify the actual spread of COVID-19. Karnataka witnessed record surge of 918 cases in 24 hours, total cases at 11,923
