COVID update: Cases cross 2-lakh mark in Maharashtra

New Delhi, July 04 (ANI): Maharashtra reported 7,074 cases and 295 deaths in the last 24 hours, taking state’s tally to 2,00,064. 1180 cases were reported in Mumbai in 24 hours with dip in infections at Asia’s largest slum Dharavi (2). 4,280 fresh COVID-19 cases were reported in Tamil Nadu, taking total cases to 1,07,001. National capital saw rise in COVID cases with 2,505 new infections, taking the tally to 97,200. Today, 9,925 RT-PCR and 13,748 rapid antigen tests were conducted in Delhi. Karnataka today saw a significant 24-hour spike with 1,839 cases and 42 deaths, taking active number of cases to 11,966 and death toll to 335. 2,42,383 tests were conducted on July 03, according to ICMR. Total number of tests done so far stands at 95,40,132.
