COVID-19: Over 10 lakh samples tested in last 24 hours

New Delhi, Dec 16 (ANI): As per the data released by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, India on December 15 reported single-day spike of 26,382 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours. 387 deaths in the same period pushed the COVID-19 toll in the country to 1,44,096. India’s confirmed cases of coronavirus stand at 99,32,548 which include 3,32,002 active infections. More than 94,56,449 people have recovered from the virus with 33,813 new discharges in last 24 hours. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), a total of 10,85,625 samples were tested on December 15. Cumulative samples tested for COVID-19 till December 15 are 15,66,46,280.
