COVID-19: Mass antigen testing to be conducted in Gorakhpur’s hotspot zones

Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh), Jul 01 (ANI): In view of the rising cases of coronavirus in Uttar Pradesh’s Gorakhpur, the district administration has decided to intensify contact tracing and do mass antigen testing in areas where contact tracing is difficult. Speaking on the matter, SDM City Gaurav Singh Sogarwal said the 10-12 cases are found everyday in Gorakhpur, and the city has 46 hotspot zones, adding that people who are recently testing positive for the virus don’t have any travel history, and in order to trace their contacts, the administration will conduct mass antigen tests in those hotspots where contact tracing will not be possible.
