COVID-19: India records highest single-day spike of over 32,000 cases

New Delhi, July 16 (ANI): India reported highest single day spike of 32,695 positive COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours and 606 deaths. It took India’s tally to 9,68,876 positive cases including 3,31,146 active cases, 6,12,815 cured/discharged/migrated and 24,915 deaths. As per Government of India, the recovery rate among COVID-19 patients has increased to 63.24%. The recoveries or deaths ratio is 96.09%:3.91% now. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 1,27,39,490 samples were tested for COVID-19 till July 15 and out of these 3,26,826 samples have been tested till July 15.
