COVID-19 cases surpass 10 lakh in India

New Delhi, July 17 (ANI): COVID-19 cases crossed 10 lakh mark in India with the highest single-day spike of 34,956 COVID-19 cases in the last 24 hours and 687 deaths. It took India’s tally to 10,03,832 positive cases including 3,42,473 active cases, 6,35,757 cured/discharged/migrated and 25,602 deaths. According to Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), 1,30,72,718 samples were tested for COVID-19 till July 16 and out of these 3,33,228 samples have been tested till July 16.
