COVID-19: After Delhi, Tamil Nadu gets plasma bank

Chennai (Tamil Nadu), July 23 (ANI): Tamil Nadu has now started a plasma bank to treat COVID-19 patients in the state. Tamil Nadu’s Principal Health Secretary, J Radhakrishnan said to ANI, “Like Delhi, we have also started a plasma bank on Chief Minister’s orders. More than 1.25 lakh people have recovered in the state, they can be of great help to the infected people.”The total number of active cases in the state stands at 51,765 and 2,700 deaths so far in the state.
