Udhampur (Jammu and Kashmir), Aug 29 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir’s district hospital Udhampur has received 35 ventilators under PM-CARES fund. The ventilators were given to the district hospital for help in treatment of COVID-19 patients. Hospital's Medial Superintendent, Dr Vijay Raina said, “Government has provided ventilator support to all district hospitals, on a short notice. We will install them shortly.”“Earlier, ICUs with ventilators were available only in medical colleges. We referred patients there. As numbers started increasing, we faced difficulties when we had severely ill patients who need ventilator support. Now, we can save them even here,” Dr Vijay Raina added.
