New Delhi, Jun 21 (ANI) India on June 21 reported the highest single day spike of 15,413 new positive cases of coronavirus. The total number of COVID infections has risen to 4,10,461. The death toll has also seen a jump, after 306 people lost the battle against the virus in the last 24 hours. 13254 people have so far lost their lives in the country to COVID-19 pandemic. Maharashtra tops the tally of the worst affected state with 1,28,205 positive cases. Tamil Nadu and Delhi are distant but the numbers are rapidly rising in both the states. Total confirmed cases in Tamil Nadu and Delhi stand on 56,845 and 56,746 respectively. Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) tested 1,90,730 samples in the last 24 hours.
