Construction of bunkers underway in border areas of J&K’s Kathua

Kathua/ Jammu (J&K), Sep 02 (ANI): Construction of bunkers is being undertaken at villages in border areas of Union Territory. Bunkers are safe for residents living near border areas. Construction of bunkers is underway in Jammu & Kashmir’s Kathua district. Speaking to ANI, Jyoti a local from Kathua said, “Frequent firing takes place from across the border making our lives difficult. We can safely live in these bunkers now.” Speaking to ANI, the Divisional Commissioner of Jammu, Sanjeev Verma said, “Construction of around 8,000 bunkers in border areas has been completed. It includes both community and individual bunkers.”
