Construction of multi-level terminal underway at Leh Airport for better services

Leh, Sep 13 (ANI): Airports Authority of India (AAI) is constructing a new multi-level terminal at Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh that will span across 18,985 sqm areas along with fixed link bridges and a utility building of 3,340 sqm areas. The new terminal will be equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and will offer better connectivity within the airport complex using elevators and escalators. The construction of the building began in February 2019 and is scheduled for completion in September 2021. Kushok Bakula Rimpochee Airport in Leh is sole commercial airport in Ladakh at the moment.
