Confident of adding Rs 20-lakh crore manufacturing output in next 5 years: Piyush Goyal

New Delhi, Sep 05 (ANI): Central Government will soon be unveiling a programme, called 'One Product One District'. Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal talked about the programme while addressing a press conference. He stated that govt is confident of adding Rs 20 lakh crore manufacturing output in next 5 years. "Minister of Commerce and Industry is working with states on a One Product One District programme, we will soon be unveiling a programme where every district in the country will be focusing on its energies on the outreach of their own products of excellence," said Piyush Goyal. "We have identified 24 products in partnership with industry, we are confident of adding at least Rs 20 lakh crores manufacturing output in next 5 years, it'll create jobs, expand economic activity and will lead the way towards India's rightful place," Goyal added.
