Computer test to begin for Railway vacancies from mid December: Railway Board

New Delhi, Sept 05 (ANI): Railway Board Chairman Vinod Kumar Yadav on Railway vacancies informed that before COVID-19 pandemic there were 1 lakh and forty thousand vacancies in Railways. He further said, “1 lakh and forty thousand vacancies were notified in Railway before COVID-19. Around 2 crore and 42 lakh applications came in but due to the pandemic exams were not conducted. Now the decision has been taken that the computer based test for the Railways will commence from December 15. And a detailed schedule will be put out soon.”
