College students learn entrepreneurial skills in workshop organised by J&K govt

Srinagar (J&K), Dec 16 (ANI): Jammu and Kashmir administration organised a one-day workshop in Srinagar on establishment of incubation centres in the degree colleges of the union territory. The objective of the training cum workshop was to help produce innovative, skilled and research based graduates in order to become professional entrepreneurs and generate employment for themselves as well as others. The workshop saw presence of dozens of personalities including principals of different colleges, vice-chancellors of central universities, and other experts who gave lectures about the importance of innovation and incubation and skill development courses. The workshop was organised by the Department of Higher Education in collaboration with Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar. A number of students, many of them also working as entrepreneurs in various fields, attended the program and interacted with different experts to get more knowledge.
