Jaipur (Rajasthan), June 6 (ANI): Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot recently launched the Raj Kaushal Portal and Online Shramik Employment Exchange through video conferencing. It is a major initiative taken by the state government after the lockdown, to make it easier for the workers to get employment who are suffering from livelihood losses and to make the labour available to the industries facing labour shortage. Taking a note of the migration of workers from the state and the arrival of migrant workers due to the corona pandemic, CM Gehlot had directed to create an online labour exchange. This portal has been prepared in just two weeks. Keeping in view the need, this portal will also be brought to the mobile app platform soon. This portal contains data of over 12 lakh migrant workers as well as registered workers of planning offices and building and other construction boards and more than 53 lakh workers and manpower trained in RSLDC and ITI. Also, more than 11 lakh employers have also been registered on this. Apart from this, any worker can register himself on this portal.
