Civil Aviation Minister congratulates Air India women pilots for flying over world’s longest air route

New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri congratulated the women pilot and women cockpit crew which operated the inaugural flight between San Francisco and Bengaluru. “I was tracking the flight, they have made the country proud,” said Puri. The successful flight which flew over the North Pole lasted for more than 17 hours. It was also the first-ever longest commercial flight in the world operated by all-women pilot. The crew consisted of Captain Zoya Agarwal, Captain Papagari Thanmai, Captain Akanksha Sonawane, and Captain Shivani Manhas.
