Chhatbir Zoo reopened after over 9 months with COVID-19 guidelines

Mohali (Punjab), Dec 11 (ANI): With COVID-19 related guidelines in place, Mahendra Chaudhary Zoological Park (Chhatbir Zoo) reopened on December 10. Chhatbir Zoo is situated in Punjab’s Mohali, which got reopened for visitors after around 9 months. Zoo premises were being properly sanitized to avoid any kind of coronavirus infection. Speaking to ANI, the field director of Chhatbir Zoo, Dr M Sudhagar said, “Visitors below the age of 5 years and over 65 years are requested not to come. But if they come, we have made special arrangements for them.” “Entry tickets can be booked online and cash will not be accepted for entry tickets at the zoo,” he added. “Visitors will be allowed in three slots, with a gap of 30 minutes between the slots. There will not be more than 900 people at a time at the zoo,” Dr M Sudhagar further stated.
