Udhampur (Jammu & Kashmir), July 11 (ANI): The Chenani -Sudhmahadev road project in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur is boosting local economy. This two lane road project of Union Ministry of Tourism is not only providing employment to locals but will also ease their lives for transportation of their produce. Halqa Basht village’s Sarpanch Surinder Singh said, “Basht is known as best vegetable grower area, lots of farmers work in field very hard but often their produce not reach market on time due to the bad condition of road, but after completion of this road project, it would bring an change and revolution in the area.”Project Sub-Contractor, Kulbir Chauhan said, “Earlier we have to go different states in search of work, now we are getting work in our home- town.”
