Chardham Yatra all set to resume from July 01 for pilgrims of Uttarakhand

Badrinath (Uttarakhand), Jun 30(ANI): District Administration has completed the preparations to open the ‘Chardham Yatra’ for pilgrims from within the state from July 1. The pilgrimage was remained shut for months to curb the spread of COVID-19. The pilgrims visiting the temples will be limited and they will not be allowed to enter some parts of the temples. Wearing masks, sanitising hands and maintaining social distance will be mandatory during the pilgrimage. The four famous Himalayan shrines of Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri and Yamunotri in Uttarakhand's Garhwal region are known as ‘Chardham’.
