New Delhi, Feb 01 (ANI): Members of Parliament (MPs) of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) protested against new farm laws in the Parliament premises on February 01. Speaking to ANI in the national capital, president of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), Sukhbir Singh Badal spoke about the Union Budget 2021-2022. Sukhbir said, “Budget only matters when it reflects that what you are doing for the country, what you are giving to farmers and what you are actually doing to revive the economy.” Adding to it, SAD leader and Lok Sabha MP from Punjab’s Bathinda, Harsimrat Kaur Badal told ANI, “Mann ki Baat didn’t mentioned anything about the farmers. I hope that in today’s budget they will repeal three black farm laws and talk about bringing a better law.” “Budget is merely a piece of paper if it will not mention anything about farmers,” she added.
