Boating services resume in Nainital after 6 months

Nainital (Uttarakhand), Sept 02 (ANI): Boating services have resumed in Nainital. Lives of more than 400 boatmen are dependent on the service which eventually got halted due to COVID-19 outbreak. After a gap of almost 6 months, the boats are again on the Naini Lake. Boat Operators Committee Manager, Vikram Singh Bisht said, "There was lockdown during our peak profit season of May-June this year. Even now the tourists are afraid but we hope the situation will improve by October." As per new state guidelines, masks, sanitizer and social distancing are mandatory for a boat ride.
