BMC organizes screening camp for plasma donation in Dharavi

Mumbai, July 24 (ANI): The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has organised a screening camp in Mumbai amid coronavirus pandemic. The camp was set up on July 24 in Dharavi area of Mumbai for plasma donation. Out of total 2100 people, around 400-500 COVID-19 survivors are willing to donate plasma. BMC will be collecting the plasma from Monday (July 27) at different hospitals of Mumbai. While speaking to media, Shiv Sena Member of Parliament from Mumbai’s South Central Constituency, Rahul Ramesh Shewale said, “On the occasion of Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray’s birthday many corona survivors and warriors will be donating their plasma on July 27.” Maharashtra has over 1,40,350 active cases of coronavirus as of July 24.
