BKU’s Rakesh Tikait sits on hunger strike at Delhi-UP Border

Delhi-UP Border, Dec 14 (ANI): Farmers protest continued at Delhi borders as the protest entered day 19 on December 14. Farmer leader and national spokesperson of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) Rakesh Tikait hold hunger strike today along with other farmers’ leaders. They will observe hunger strike from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm at Ghazipur (Delhi-UP border). Protesting farmers continue to camp in and around Delhi borders to protest against the newly enacted farm laws. Speaking to ANI, Rakesh Tikait spoke on 3 BKU (Bhanu Faction) leaders' resignation. He said, “There is no rift among farmers. 3 leaders of Bhartiya Kisan Union (Bhanu) faction resigned because they were upset with their President Bhanu Pratap Singh, as to why he compromised.”
