Bird flu: Samples sent from poultry farm test positive in MP’s Jhabua

Jhabua (Madhya Pradesh), Jan 13 (ANI): Samples which were sent from a poultry farm in Madhya Pradesh’s Jhabua tested positive for bird flu. A large number of birds were found dead at Ashish Kadaknath Farm in Jhabua. Samples were sent to Bhopal four days ago. Speaking to media, the Deputy Director of Jhabua Veterinary Services, Dr Wilson Davar said, “Many birds were dying in farm and cause was unknown. Samples were sent to Bhopal 4-days ago which tested positive for bird flu.” The central administration is on high alert with outbreak of bird flu in several states of India. They are taking all the necessary precautions following avain flu spread.
