Bhagalpur (Bihar), Oct 23 (ANI): While speaking at a public rally in Bihar’s Bhagalpur, Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the opposition of misleading the farmers on minimum support price and highlighted the NDA government’s initiative towards benefiting farmers. PM Modi said, “It is the NDA government which implemented the recommendation to give MSP to farmers at one and a half times the cost. It is the NDA government that has laid great emphasis on both government procurement centres and government procurement.” He further questioned, “They do not have the answer till date when they were in government then why did not they decide on MSP? Why so little grain was purchased from farmers in these times? Why these people did not care about farmers, farmers of Bihar.”
