Andhra Police raise awareness against consuming hand sanitisers

West Godavari District (Andhra Pradesh), Aug 08 (ANI): Andhra Pradesh Police on August 07 organised a social welfare program in Upparagudem village of West Godavari District to raise awareness about the harmful effects of consuming sanitisers, whiteners, spirits and country liquor and drugs. At least 10 people had died after consuming alcohol-based hand sanitiser in state’s Prakasam district late last month. Several of such incidents have been reported in various parts of the country.
