Pune (Maharashtra), Jan 01 (ANI): NCP leader Ajit Pawar, who is part of the Maharashtra government led by Shiv Sena, and Leader of Opposition in the state assembly Devendra Fadnavis shared the stage for the inauguration of a water supply project in Pune on January 01. Their appearance together raised eyebrows in the political corridor of Maharashtra, and also drew sharp reaction from the workers of NCP and BJP. Workers from both the parties created ruckus after Pawar and Fadnavis attended the event. Both the leaders politically shook the state after suddenly taking oath as Chief Minister and Deputy in Maharashtra in late 2019. Their stint ended after NCP chief Sharad Pawar made Ajit back out from the brief partnership.
