Air quality turns ‘severe’ in parts of Delhi

New Delhi, Oct 24 (ANI): Air quality is continuously deteriorating in national capital with the rise of pollutants in the atmosphere. On October 24, Air Quality Index deteriorates to 'severe' category in Alipur, Mundka and Wazirpur as per Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCP) data.Particulate Matter 2.5 recorded at 359 (very poor category) in Patparganj, as per Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) data. On the other side, near Income Tax Office in New Delhi, the AQI recorded PM 2.5 at 141 and PM at 196. It is said that 'severe' category affects healthy people and seriously impacts those with existing diseases.
