New Delhi, Dec 03 (ANI): The meeting of farmers’ leaders with the central government concluded in the national capital on December 03. The next meeting will be held on December 05. Speaking to media, Agriculture Minister Narendra Tomar said, “In the new act, it has been provided that farmers can take their grievances to Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) court. Farmers' unions feel that SDM court is a lower court and they should be allowed to go the court. Government will consider this demand.” “They (agitating farmers) also expressed their concerns over an ordinance on stubble burning and the act on electricity. The government is open to consider and discuss these issues as well,” he added.
