Chandrapur (Maharashtra), Oct 23 (ANI): For some people, age is just a number. This is proved by an 87-year-old homoeopathic doctor Ramchandra Danekar in Maharashtra’s Chandrapur who braves COVID-19 threat to treat villagers. He travels 10 km on his bicycle daily to provide door-to-door medical treatment to the poor. He has been visiting patients on his bicycle for last 60 years. Speaking to ANI, Danekar said that during COVID times, he has been treating poor patients without fear. “For the last 60 years, I have been visiting villagers almost daily. Due to fear of COVID-19, doctors are scared of treating poor patients but I have no such fear. Nowadays, young doctors are only after money, they don't want to serve poor,” said Danekar.
